The Tamarack reminds us of our shared capacity for resilience and renewal.
Welcome! I'm happy you're here. My name is Jennifer Cole. I am a Professional Counselor Associate in Portland, Oregon. My work focuses on supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, OCD, addictions with co-occurring diagnoses, sexual assault, domestic violence and PTSD.
I work collaboratively with each client to identify goals, build practical coping strategies, and foster resilience. My approach is trauma-informed and emphasizes self-awareness, mindfulness, and strengths-based exploration, helping clients understand themselves more fully and develop skills that support lasting change.
I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in addictions with co-occurring diagnoses. I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor – R (CADC-R) and also maintain certifications in Ecopsychology and Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My focus is on supporting clients in building strength and creating a path forward that is authentic and sustainable. Currently, I offer counseling exclusively through telehealth, making care accessible from the comfort of home.
*I do not bill insurance directly at this time. However, I can provide you with a superbill, which is an itemized receipt of our sessions. You may submit this document to your insurance company to request possible reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
